I believe the dark knight trilogy is a story that is one that we will never get again from a DC flick. It’s a rare gem, the story arc was amazing and just a bit dark to get the point across. I’m a huge DC fan and I recognize that marvel has done well with movies but IMO the Dark Knight is a hard movie to top. I agree the only movie below that is The Winter Soldier, but not even an Avenger movie can dethrone the DK trilogy IMO.

For me personally, X2, Watchmen, and 1st Iron Man should have made the list. Wonder Woman is an honorable mention.

Excellent picks however. I think Blade 1 and 2, Dr strange, shazam, x-men 2, and Spiderman homecoming should've either been on the list or at least honorable mentions. Great vid guys

Watchmen may not deserve to be in the top 10, but it doesn’t get enough respect IMO. Snyder’s best film.

I agree Guardians should have been on the list. Great Video per usual Gem!

Chris Crow September 20, 2020 - 10:32 am

X-Men: Days of Future Past absolutely deserves its slot. It was the best X-Men movie and the most iconic of all of Fox's X-Men

Gem, I have to disagree with some of the films on the list. The dark knight was an easy number one and mine too but where was dark knight rises, deadpool, captain America first avenger? These films were impeccable. Also batman mask of the phantasm and blade should be on there. Dredd could have easily got number one. (I'm naming too many now)

What was so fine with first class was the decision to set up the action in the 60's…so no smartphones, no internet, no " easy" Deus ex machina solution. And in addition they managed to get that " Mad Men" vibe with the suits. Not sure you understood the Endgame thought…the all purpose of Endgame is " how a superhero acts when he's depressed", the " aftermath let all of them so down…to me infinity war, is the battle, so the excitement is legit because it's all action packed, but that 's when most of the " super heroes" movies stop…they win, then end;..Here Marvel pushed the genre so much far away of the " happy ending";;first the good buys lose, then you see how they cope with this epic fail…it's unique from a cinematic point of view, you've never seen " the good guys" lose a battle and then how they're sad, depressed, angry, frustrated and so on..
