Energy department knows nothing about available renewable energy

by MAC

As the country battles with Stage Two load shedding, Mineral Resources and Energy Minister Gwede Mantashe says his department knows nothing about available renewable energy.
Speaking at Parliament earlier, he said to date, no offers for renewable energy have been made to his department. New energy production remains a key issue for the economy.

This shows a failure of mentality.. This guy has reached a monopause of thinking.. How can a agile energy department minister speak like this? Even a grade 9 leaner can come up with different forms of renewable energy that are "available" in South Africa… Someone please rescue this old man from us!!
